This story focuses on 3 girls going to Paris to have their long-awaited dream vacation. It turns out to be a big disappointment, but faith has a trick up its sleeve. One of them gets mistaken for a British heiress and an exciting adventure in Monte Carlo follows.
The producers had actually intended for Julia Roberts and Nicola Kidman to be part of this movie, but changed their mind in the final stages of planning to go with a younger cast. Probably a wise choice, as I don’t really see those very talented, but still already in a mature age, actresses to make the script work naturally. Instead we have “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester alongside Selena Gomez and Katie Cassidy. This new generation of actresses has yet to prove themselves on the big stage, but are no newcomers either. They will be under the faithful direction of Thomas Bezucha, who seems to like these stories about the social elite. As we start the journey and watch Monte Carlo online, we are instead taken first to Paris. The city has been in the minds of the young girls for a long time and finally they have the opportunity to put their saving into an actual travel arrangement. As quite often is the case, things can appear too perfect in your imagination. When they finally arrive, the girls don’t enjoy themselves at all. One mishap follows another and when things couldn’t get any worse, it starts raining! Forced to take refuge in the lobby of a 5-star hotel, this is the crucial turning point; where the absolute low is turned into the absolute high. For the viewer, this is where the real rollercoaster begins, as we watch Monte Carlo online. Our young girlfriends are thrown into the world of the super-rich. Immediately a team of people starts to move them around, before they even have time to explain their real identities. They are taken away from Paris and flown to the city-state of Monte Carlo in a private jet. All this has to happen in lightning speed, because the relentless paparazzi waste no time in closing down on our royalty pretenders. It can be categorized under comedy, but if you watch Monte Carlo online, it will feel more like a light-hearted adventure movie for all ages. It might sound a little shallow, but is a good equalizer to all those super-hero action movies of 2011.
