The X-Men franchise welcomes the latest addition to its series of films – “X-Men: First Class”. This movie is a prequel to the whole story, with Professor X and Magneto discovering their powers as young men.
The main story of X-Men is about two rival factions, but it began with the two men working together as allies and then torn apart by their methods of fighting against evil. Some characters already familiar to the fan will be in the movie, as well as a lot of new faces. Director Matthew Vaughn has not made a lot of films in Hollywood, but all of his works have been pretty decent. He will have the opportunity to show his skills with this script, working with characters that have become legends in people’s hearts. It is mostly action-orientated, that is what we will see when we watch X-Men First Class online. That doesn’t mean there won’t be anything else to look at or absorb, character development and also the story has to stay true to what we already know about X-Men. I guess this is mostly the job of screenwriters to check every little detail, but the director plays his part in creating the same feeling as in the previous films. He will no doubt add something in terms of his handwriting too. The director of the original two movies is heavily involved in this project as a writer, which will help it stay true to its roots and original ideas. When we as the public watch X-Men First Class online, we already know what to expect – the incredible metal-bending powers of Magneto and all the other cool powers the characters have, it will be hard to surprise us. Maybe we don’t want to be too surprised though, we want to know about how the story started, why things ended up the way they did. There has been quite a lot of time between the first movie and this, more precisely 10 years, which helps in creating suspense and making it feel less like a mass-production only aimed at making the most amount of money with the least amount of time. Although, if you have never seen a X-Men movie, you might start by watching those and only then going to watch X-Men First Class online. Not that it would be impossible to understand this movie otherwise, but knowing the story beforehand will make it so much more fun to watch.
